As we count down the hours to our departure, we paused today to inventory our documentary equipment. It’s been arriving piece by piece over the last few weeks, making it feel a bit like Christmas around here. Now that nearly all of it has arrived, we thought we’d tell you a little bit about it.

Lights, Camera, Action!

We are revamping our website and honing our Spanish skills before we arrive in Guadalajara at the end of September.  There is a very long list to check off prior to our departure, so we’re hunkering down now that we’ve arrived on the East Coast.

Our drive across country was enlightening and enlivening.  We’ve been told it is very”in” these days to create multimedia projects that are available in multiple forms – in film, on the internet, etc.  This field of work is called New Media or Transmedia.  The face of media is rapidly changing, and it’s exciting to be riding on that breaking wave.
