Driving

86700998_14387cfb6b_bWe are currently cruising this vast country.  Tonight we head from Green River, Utah to Aspen, Colorado.  There are many water related issues one can witness from the highways- near empty reservoirs and inefficient agricultural water use to name the two we’ve seen most often.  The West is running out of water, and that struggle will gain intensity in coming years.  It certainly is beautiful land to occupy, however inhospitable.

Our plane tickets have been purchased!  We leave for Guadalajara September 29th.  We’ll have almost a month in NH to pull together equipment and rebuild the website prior to our departure.

Leaving in a Packed Truck (Jet Plane Comes Later)

beachWe leave the Bay Area for our cross country adventure on Friday!  The past two weeks were chock full of packing up, saying goodbye, and making a few really great connections for our project down the line.  It’s sad to leave our home of the past three years, but it’s comforting to know all the support and lasting friendships we have here.

Packing Up

prettywaterfallWe’re in out last two weeks in the Bay Area. Wow. The trip to Mexico is getting much closer (late September), and there are still many loose ends to wrap up.  This Thursday we’re hosting our last fundraiser in the Bay Area.  We’ll be bartending at Tonic Bar in San Francisco from 6-9pm this Thursday, August, 6th.  All tips will go to our project.  Please come out, and bring your friends!
