Steve(o)’s Video Blog

I decided to video blog this week. I discuss my journey with an “environmental vigilante”, named Don Pedro. He took me on a bike tour to his brother’s farm in the hills. Thereafter we climbed a mountain to get footage of the surrounding Juanacatlán municipality. I also talk about my internal struggle in working with a community exposed to intense pollution.

It was an incredible, powerful week!

I look forward to your feedback.

Me alegró muchísimo verte. . .

Hey steve- wow what a great video! It is nearly impossible to imagine what that river looks like or the magnitude of the pollution it carries. How do you even start with cleaning it up? Do you go to the businesses that are dumping the chemicals or do you start with trying to get the people in the area to band together and demand a change? I want to know as much as possible about what you are doing.

ps. the video was awesome. You looked fabulous! my favorite part, besides all of your heartfelt info, was when you twisted your mustache which is looking rather great these days. love you!

I loved the video Steven. I would like to see more of them actually. I like SEEing the mixture of excitement, curiosity, concern, etc. on your face and I can sense the reality of the situation more vividly. Tell me more!

Oh, how refreshing it is to hear/see you almost in person! Thank you for the effort. It would be so nice if we (the public?) could see the actual pictures of the locations and the people you’re talking about, but your description is very suggestive though. I can’t wait to see the footage of the videos you’re working on.

    Primero, me gustan tus videos!

Hello dear Steven. Thanks so much for the video. It means a lot to see you as though in person. I am glad you are there as I’m sure the people who live there are. Keep spreading the light.
